I am a 71 year-old man. After many years of ridiculing Christians and passing through the stages of cynic and then skeptic I was baptized on my 63rd birthday. I believe that my work for God is to make disciples but am largely unable to remember verses and to articulate the message to unbelievers. Up to now I have been, at best, an agnostic. I formerly thought that the immensity of the universe overcame the tiny probability of life arising spontaneously. But after reading about Dr. Ben Alexander’s experience and also seeing the much bigger odds against random life, I’m a believer.
